AUSTRALIA, SYDNEY 2009 - Part I

Back from Australia.
It's madly, awesomely fun!!!
No need to say more, pictures ahead.
Day 1
Arrived at ard 10am (syd time) and I was really tired.
Midnight flight :(
Arrived at our hotel and I must say, the only thing that I don't like is the hotel.
We booked late, so we didn't get the hotel that we initially wanted. *thumbs down*
The 1st day, didn't do much cause we're getting use to the city.
Lots of Asians there, particularly Koreans. Lots of Korean and Japanese stores too!
So we just walked around town, shopped, ate, walked.
Bought a 2nd-hand book! Quite cheap~
Then, we walked around World-square shopping centre and blah blah.
Shopped for food and clothes.
Their trolleys are so cute!
OHOH! and their shops close superrrr early! like 3pm, and BAM! they're closed. We wanted to buy more food, and when we came back, it was empty. Amusing~
The weather was freezinggggg, so we bought food from some other places and went back to the hotel early. Temperature is ard 11~15 C.
The burger is hugeee! Can't finish it.
Australian milk is the best! creamy and tasty !
Ok, so we didn't do much during the first day except for exploring around the city.
2nd day was when the tour starts!
Day 2

2nd day was sightsee-ing in the city and beaches! Only a half day tour~
Tada! The Sydney habour bridge!
The whole view of the famous Sydney Opera House and the entire city!
Then we head over to Manly, a place with beautiful beaches (and rich people!)
Saw some cute birds over there.
They're trying to balance! Cause it's so darn windy.
I swear, I felt a force pushing me!
Rich people's mansion. The view is spectacular!!! It's facing the sea, that's why!
I loveeee their houses! It's so small, cute and cozy, very cottage-like! And, their gardens, filled with beautiful flowers! I didn't take a photo of the gardens cause the bus was going too fast :(
Manly's beach! Popular with surfers!
The skies look stormy, but it never rained!
Huge wave, and crazy people are surfing, + the weather is so damnn cold & wind.
HOW DID THEY DO THAT!
We wandered around the town of Manly, and bought some tarts.
Fruit tart! I love the crust part! It's so crispy and butter-y. The fruits are a bit too sweet though.
After the tour, we dropped at 'The Rocks' and had a side (better) view of the Sydney Opera House. Lovely!
Walked by 'The Rocks', and we saw this! Colourful birds eating leftovers from table!
Their buildings are awesome!
Walked over to Queen Victoria Building, a shopping centre that has a beautiful architecture.
QVB. Love the building (and mall).
We went to a chocolate store, and bought this! Taste.so.good. Limited edition too!
OMGOMG!
I have FINALLY found a LUSH store!(actually, I checked their official website and planned to go there by dragging mum + bro, MUWHAHAHHA. I told them that there are great stores there!!!!) GENIUS!
I have been wanting to go to that store forever!
I don't get why they don't have that store in M'sia or S'pore (in SEA to be exact)
They should hurry up and open 1 already!!! Love their products, but the smell of the store is just too overwhelming! I, too, can't really stand it.
Their soap smells wonderful though (though pricey
)Don't you just hate it when things you want are a bit too much for your budget? ARGH. LIFE.
Anyways, I bought the set 'Rock chick' at a reasonable price. Teehee. Now, my bag smells like candy!
Before going back to the hotel, bought some finger snacks to munch. We went to a Korean snack store and they have lots good snacks there.
