SOUTH KOREA - Part II
♥ 4:50 PM
Part I
TWO - Jeju Island

My brother and I went for a walk in the neighborhood, and found this cute dog searching for food :)

Next, we head off to Seongsan Ilchulboang Peak! The place is really beautiful, and the view... *speechless*

We climbed all the way to the top to see the volcano crater. It was tiring, but worth it!

The volcano!

Climbing down was a bit difficult. The steps were steep and my legs were wobbly.

We passed by a field of flowers. Isn't it beautiful? Jeju island is filled with them! Haha, doesn't this scene reminds you of 'Boys Over Flowers' (epi 21)?

Seonguep Folk village. Their tradition straw roofs are nicely made.

A cute black pig!
Poor thing, it was shivering in the cold :(

Lunch again. The side dishes are similar every meal.

These korean strawberries are big and juicy, unlike the ones from our local supermarkets.

The next destination is... Cheojiyeon Falls!

This place is good for meditating, really! The splashing of the waterfall, the cool weather and shady trees!

Stalls selling hugeee squid and cuttlefish. I tell you, they're really fresh, unlike the ones back at home, which are usually hard. The ones here are soft warm, and chewy. Fresh!

A nice stall owner gave this to me for free ^^ Kamsahamida~
That's the spicy cuttlefish *yum*
We headed to the Teddy Bear Museum, where many famous portraits and figures are displayed - teddy bear version!

Looks familiar? The famous 'The creation of Adam' portrait.

Vincent Van Gogh!
There's more, but I'm kinda lazy :P

Dinner! Oh man, all I ever eat was the main dish and soup. The small side dishes don't suit my taste at all :S

Soju! Some of you may know what this is, but for those who don't, its an alocholic beverage that is widely drank in Korea. These appear in a lot of dramas, LOL.
They ordered 2 types, so I thought I must try it and gosh; the taste is realllllly bitter and once it goes down to your throat, it gives a fiery feeling!
One of them had the beer taste, but still bitter =s

Before going back to the hotel, went to the convenience store (again)to buy some snacks for the night. I love their snacks!
THREE - Busan/Gyeongju
We took a morning flight to Busan. Busan is more of a industrial area, namely a port.
Our driver is a really funny, super clean freak! He's always cleaning his vehicle. *laughs*
When we stepped on things like mud, he'll go "NONONONONO" and "OH MY GAWD"
LOLOLOLOL, Even though there's communication barrier, he tried talking to us. He's a really nice guy.

Busan's view~ Busan is so much colder than Jeju!

First destination is...this place. I don't know the name. Nice place where you can feed the pigeons and see the view of Busan. And there's this funny thing which happened.
There was a group of boys feeding the pigeons, and Mr. Park told us to throw something up in the air. He threw, and all the pigeons started flying away, and some of the boys were screaming. LOL. We went up to the tower (?) and the wind was sooooo refreshing!

Busan's pretty dead. Lots of shops were closed

Next, Yongdusan Park (i think)! This place is magnificent! The trees, the fallen leaves, the pond! Very autumn-y.

One of my fav. picture~

Street stores.

Mr. Park's legs ^
The next stop was Tumuli Park. Another nice place :)

The little hills are actually tombs of noble/rich people in the past. Those are some huge tombs!

Bought some 'vanilla fish cake ice cream with red bean top' at this store. Even though the weather was cold, I don't care cause its really :b------ GOOD. The red bean was not overly sweet

Then we walked quite a distance to this structure over here. Guess what it does?
To observe stars! I have no idea how it works cause I wasn't listening to what Mr. Park was saying.

They forget the "L".
I don't know why, but I feel that dinner/lunch comes by quickly when I'm in Korea. And we eat dinner pretty earlier in Korea, ard 6pm.
